About the tour
Visit the heart of Lima, a city considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Start the day with a panoramic tour through the historic centre to the Plaza de Armas, where you will stop to appreciate its attractions. In the same square, we will go to the Cathedral of Lima, the most important church in Peru, built between 1542 and 1622, followed by a visit to the Casa Aliaga, the former viceroyalty residence that Francisco Pizarro granted to Jerónimo de Aliaga -one of his captains- in 1535, after the foundation of the city. This is the only house from that period that still belongs to the same family today. We will stop at the Larco Museum, located in the traditional district of Pueblo Libre. The museum was founded by Rafael Larco Hoyle in 1926 inside a colonial mansion built on top of a 7th century pre-Columbian pyramid. It houses the most complete pre-Hispanic collection of gold and silver objects, as well as pieces of erotic art. After this visit, you will return to your hotel.
