PRESENTATION OF THE COURSE
Design and optimisation of experiments is a fundamental tool in modern chemistry. In this course, we will present the statistical and mathematical techniques necessary to design efficient experiments and maximise the information obtained. The theoretical basis of optimisation will be discussed and practical cases of application in chemistry will be explored, such as the optimisation of synthesis processes, quality analysis and control of variables in chemical reactions. Participants will learn how to design experiments suitable for their research and how to interpret the results obtained. At the end of the course, participants will be able to apply the techniques of design and optimisation of experiments in their research and to improve the efficiency of their chemical processes.
